Mood: Just Chillin Dude
4th June 2005
Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas
Wind Direction: WSW
Wind Stength: 20 knots
Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot messy surf
Air Temperature: 14ºC
Sea Temperature: 12ºC
Weather: Sunny spells and showers
Max Speed: 32.2 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 48.5 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Yet another top session with a constant 20 knot wind, some decent waves and a few others to sail with. I spent about 5 hours on the water in the end and can now barely move as everything aches.

I spent the first hour constantly adjusting things as I just couldn't get the sail to feel right. In the end I move the harness lines really far back and things then felt fine and I started sailing really well. Steve Impi and myself had a few really good runs next to each other, taking it in turns to go for jumps. We then had a few 'races' out to the main Dovery Bar bouy. My gybes were good, my jumps were good and I even got some pretty good speed runs on the way back in. A really good session, I hardly came off the plane the whole time I was on the water and felt pretty exhausted by the time I got off the water. I also had a few small injuries to show for my efforts.

What a day!
